Pediatric cancer care at UCLA
Care for pediatric cancer patients at UCLA is provided by UCLA Health’s Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology at the UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital.
For more than 40 years, UCLA has provided children with the best care and have made seminal contributions to improving treatment of children with leukemia, aplastic anemia, solid tumors, blood diseases, and various genetic disorders.
UCLA is finding new ways to improve survival rates and decrease complications in children being treated for cancer, blood disorders or undergoing bone marrow transplantation. With the support of a multidisciplinary team, including Child Life specialists and social workers, UCLA's efforts continue to significantly improve the quality of care and quality of life for these children and their families.
