Chords2Cure 5th Annual Benefit Concert

Thank you!

A huge thank you to all of the performers, sponsors, volunteers, and partners who made the 5th Annual Chords2Cure a huge success! About 500 people attended the event that featured performances from talented Crossroads students. Surprise performances by Zac Barnett from American Authors, Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol, and Drew Brown from OneRepublic made for an extra special evening. The event raised more than $150,000 for Dr. Noah Federman's pediatric cancer research at the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center (JCCC). You can still support C2C’s efforts to advance the JCCC’s research efforts by making an online gift. C2C was conceived in 2015 by middle school student Juliette Pegula and a few classmates who wanted to help their friends after they were diagnosed with rare pediatric cancers. All of the kids shared a love of music and banded together to launch a now-annual benefit concert. In addition to the very talented student performers, the concerts have included some incredible special guests including OneRepublic, Chris Shiflett from Foo Fighters, and Chris Martin from Coldplay. To date, C2C has raised close to $500,000. These funds have supported several clinical trials led by Dr. Noah Federman, Director of the Pediatric Bone and Soft Tissue Sarcoma Program at UCLA, which is part of the UCLA Sarcoma Program and the UCLA JCCC.
