Since 1993, STOP CANCER has advanced the life-changing efforts of UCLA scientists through 54 Research Career Development Awards, valued at $8.1 million, and 38 Seed Grants, valued at nearly $1 million. The leadership of the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center (JCCC) is pleased to recognize the generous continued partnership of STOP CANCER and its members through the organization's 2017 support totaling $450,000.
STOP CANCER members and donors help to fund Research Career Development Awards (RCDAs) of $150,000 each. The JCCC's 2017 STOP CANCER RCDA recipients are:
STOP CANCER Member Seed Grants of $25,000 each are funded by groups of donors who have selected a specific type of cancer research as their area of interest. Named Seed Grants are funded in full by individual STOP CANCER supporters.
