Office of Clinical Research Administrative Assistant (Remote/Hybrid)

In support of its mission to accelerate discoveries that prevent and cure cancer, the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center (UCLA JCCC) has an active and robust clinical research program and works to ensure that all clinical cancer studies employ sound quality assurance measures as part of it’s Internal Quality Assurance Program under the Office of Regulatory Compliance (ORC). The ORC Administrative Specialist is a key member of the administrative team that supports the Cancer Center’s Internal Quality Assurance Program and its ORC Compliance Officers. Reporting to the Manager of the Office of Regulatory Compliance in the UCLA JCCC, you will support administrative activities like scheduling monitoring visits and audit reviews with study teams, ensuring timely receipt of responses to monitoring and audit reports, in addition to other administrative tasks.

Assistant to the Director (Hybrid)

The newly formed Cancer Data Sciences group at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an individual to serve as the assistant to the Director of Cancer Data Sciences. Research Administrative Specialist (Hybrid)

Under the direction of the Research Administration Manager, the Research Administrative Specialist performs a variety of professional and administrative duties in support of the day-to-day operations of the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. He/she will assist in planning and development, and management of research administration activities and other administrative activities. This includes coordination of the center’s membership application process, monitoring various systems to resolve problems, and providing recommendations for continuous process improvements and best practices to support administration of the NCI Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG, Grant # P30CA016042), CCSG supplements and other cancer-related awards and activities, as assigned. The position requires administrative experience in multiple areas and focuses heavily on cancer center administration, data interpretation and monitoring, and providing support that impacts the overall goals of the Cancer Center.

Program Specialist (Hybrid)

The UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center's Office of Cancer Training and Education (OCTE) Program Specialist is a key member of the OCTE team and reports to the OCTE’s Administrative Director. The Program Specialist works with the OCTE Program coordinator to coordinate and support existing and future programs, including curriculum development, speaker selection, scheduling, advertising, registration, meeting management, and program evaluation. Under the guidance and direction of the Director, the Program Specialist is responsible for supporting a variety of education, training and mentoring activities and initiatives including: in-person and virtual event set-up; assist in new program development; website maintenance; data collection and reporting;etc.

Clinical Study Initiation Analyst

Under the direction of the Clinical Study Initiation Manager (CSI Manager) and the Sr. Research Manager, the JCCC Director, the JCCC Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the JCCC Senior Director of Clinical Oncology Research and TRIO-US Network and the CRU Medical Director (Senior Leadership), the position will provide database management, with regards to research trials and patient information, build/update research calendar specification calendars and budgets, as well as ensure the integrity of data being collected and entered into the clinical research management system (CRMS). The role will be responsible for creating and updating study protocol calendars and budgets, and in addition, the incumbent will monitor, verify and validate the integrity of various data elements into the CRMS.
