Tomoaki Fujioka, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Fujioka's research focuses on tumors occurring in the urinary tract and has published papers on prostate cancer, bladder cell carcinoma and renal cell carcinoma. Currently, Dr. Fujioka is the Director of the Japanese Branch of the International College of Surgeons as well as the Director of the Japanese Society for Sexual Medicine, Japan Society of Sexual Science and Imaging Society of Japan.
Yusuke Nakamura, M.D., Ph.D.
Director, Human Genome Center
Professor, Laboratory of Molecular Medicine
Institute of Medical Science, The University of Tokyo, Japan
Dr. Nakamura's laboratory was established in 1996 as part of the Human Genome Project. His team's current focus of study is on isolation of disease-related genes through genomic analysis, the the establishment of personalized medicine guidelines through genetic characterization of cancer cells and gene therapy through the use of animal models.
