Canada Research Chair in Pulmonary Hypertension

Dr. Michelakis' clinical and research interests focus on experimental therapies for pulmonary hypertension, vascular tone control, potassium channel electrophysiology and vascular mitochondria physiology. He is an Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research Scholar and a CIHR New Investigator, and holds several grants from CIHR, AHFMR, the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Foundation for Innovation.
