Dr. Anusha Kalbasi’s research focuses on tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy, with an emphasis on developing novel immunotherapeutic strategies in pre-clinical models and testing agents in early-phase clinical trials. His previous work, in melanoma, prostate cancer and pancreatic cancer, centered on genetic engineering of t-cells for adoptive cell therapy, modulating anti-tumor immunity through the CD40 pathway, developing immune-based cancer biomarkers and understanding myeloid-derived resistance to cytotoxic therapy.
