Joshua P. Sasine, M.D., Ph.D.
Health Sciences Clinical Instructor,
Department of Medicine, Hematology/Oncology
Dr. Joshua Sasine is primarily interested in understanding how hematopoietic cancer interacts with the bone marrow microenvironment. He studies how multiple myeloma, an incurable cancer of antibody-secreting plasma cells, is supported by bone marrow vascular endothelial cells. He aims to decouple this interaction for therapeutic benefit.
