Lung Cancer: Harnessing Advances in Immunotherapy and Radiation Therapy
Aaron Lisberg, M.D., UCLA Clinical Instructor of Medicine and Percy Lee, M.D., UCLA Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Education of Radiation Oncology, discuss how recent advances in the fields of immunotherapy and radiation therapy treatment have improved treatment for patients with lung cancer. Immunotherapy and radiation therapy can be tailored to serve each patient best; data suggest the combination of both may improve patient outcome. The multidisciplinary nature of lung cancer care and the clinical trials program at UCLA are discussed.
